syd believes that people are multi-faceted and multi-talented. art isn't limited to formal training --> making money. creativity is crucial for human existence now and forever. imagination is necessary to radical / revolutionary work. the self-creation / self-curation of queer personhood is an artistic medium that should be valued and celebrated. it is important to play and explore. color, humor, and beauty are sustenance in a society that values profit over life. the world we need to collectively build has never before existed.
